interesting find...maybe he will have one on zombies as well...another big craze. I have my own theory - since I do like the vampire myth as related to our desire for eternal life - but life in this way through the Blood of Christ. Not our own efforts. Zombies eat on others and never gain health - again reliance on self - The Eucharist is our true "pledge of eternal life" and healing sacrament.

Since I do not come from this from a Catholic perspective,,but still a Christian one, I can only say that I find the whole concept very evil and disturbing.

Thanks, Sr. Margaret Kerry. I totally agree on the Blood of Christ as life-giving and sustaining. Reliance on self vs. reliance on Christ: the first one brings us temporary life, Jesus' blood brings us and leads us to eternal life. Thank you!

It's quite alright, Grandma to many. In our Church, we believe that the bread and wine, during consecration at Holy Mass, become transformed into the Body and Blood of Christ. Thank you for leaving a comment.
